How to make a creatve recycled book purse!!





What do with your pumpkin after halloween? here's two cool pumpkin idea's!!



Pumpkin Face Mask (source: GirlsLife.com )

what you'll need
1 papaya 1/4 cup of yogurt 1 15-ounce can of pumpkin 1 1/2 teaspoons of honey

how to make:

Cut the papaya in half, remove seeds, spoon the fruit into a bowl and mash with a fork. Combine papaya and yogurt. Add the pumpkin and honey, and mix well. Apply mask to a clean face in a think layer. If you have sensitive skin, test the mask on a small section of your wrist first. Leave mask on for 10 minute. Don’t worry if your face tingles a little. Rinse off. Now you’re glowing brighter than a jack-o-lantern.



Roasted pumpkin seeds!

1.Rinse pumpkin seeds under cold water and pick out the pulp and strings. (This is easiest just after you've removed the seeds from the pumpkin, before the pulp has dried.)
2.Place the pumpkin seeds in a single layer on an oiled baking sheet, stirring to coat. If you prefer, omit the oil and coat with non-stick cooking spray.
Sprinkle with salt and bake at 325 degrees F until toasted, about 25 minutes, checking and stirring after 10 minutes.
3.Let cool and store in an air-tight container.



Chocolate lovers bath mix

what you need;
2 cups powdered milk
1/4 cup cocoa
2 tablespoons cornstarch
optional: 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Mix together all ingredients and place in a glass jar or shaker jar.

Print the chocolate milk bath label shown above and glue it to the front of your container. to print right click on picture and select print picture.

optional: Decorate the top of the jar with ribbon, raffia, or a circle of fabric held on with an rubber band.




marshmallow gun

go to the PVC pipe area and ask the staff for ½ inch PVC to be cut in the following sizes:

One 7” piece
Six 4” pieces

Then grab 2 caps, two L joints and two T joints. The staff can point these out to you. Finally, follow the picture to construct your own marshmallow gun! Of course, it is best to create two or more for some amazing marshmallow battles




doggy treats

what you need:
2 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 medium egg
1cup of water

how to:
1. Mix all ingredents EXCEPT cheese / knead thoroughly
2.roll into 3-inch pencil size sticks
3.roll dough in cheese
4.place on un-greased cooking sheet
5. bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes
6. store in airtight container. One batch makes 18-20 small treats.
